A Look into Victoria’s artistry

Victoria, a school senior, is a talented artist who is always looking into experimenting with different mediums, styles, and themes. She expresses her works through photography, digital illustrations, and painting traditionally. She especially likes using acrylic paint and enjoys the process of painting as it relaxes her.

Recently, she has taken a different approach and has been creating digital works that reflect modernity and neatness.

She is inspired by Henri Matisse, David Hockney, Edward Hopper, and Faith Ringgold. She gets inspired by modern art and different artistic movements like Impressionism. This is reflected in her works, especially the digital ones, where she fuses the modernist characteristics through digital art's neatness while keeping things unblended, reminiscent of the impressionist era's brushstrokes. This develops into her artistic style that is unforgettable and uniquely identified.

When it comes to creating her artworks, she takes a more intuitive approach and likes to sketch directly on the canvas, and develops ideas as she goes.

No matter the themes that her artworks portray, they always showcase mastery in equilibrium as they carry a harmonious balance of color. From photography to digital and traditional art, all of Victoria’s works carry an undeniable appeal that hooks the spectator into the experience that she creates. Whether it be through a jazzy collage, an abstract piece, or a surrealistic design, the variety in her works is eye-catching and creates a beautiful viewing experience.
