Kanye West's behavior gets him banned from performing

Kanye West is a well-known American producer, rapper, and fashion designer. Some of his biggest hits you have probably heard of are Father Stretch My Hands, Gold Digger, POWER, and Flashing Lights. Although Kanye was nominated for 5 Grammys, recently he has been facing a lot of backlash due to his erratic behavior and was not allowed to perform at the 64th Grammy ceremony this past Sunday. The banning is most likely the result of the public and constant harassment of his now ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

It is undeniable that Kanye is talented and is one of the most popular artists at the moment. However, many fans are turning on him because of the way he is treating Kim and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Here is a little background on the feud between Pete and Kanye.
Kim and Kanye were together for about nearly 10 years, but in February of 2021, they filed for divorce. At first, the divorce was friendly, but when the rumors came out that Kim started dating comedian Pete Davidson, tensions rose between him and her ex.
West has acted immaturely through his Instagram posts, song lyrics, and videos. A song he dropped in January 2021 called “Eazy” says: “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a** (Who?).” Here are more examples of Kanye West’s immaturity:

Davidson has tried multiple times to stop the problem from growing but Ye doesn’t seem to care and carries on. Pete shared messages between him and Kanye saying things like, “What you are doing to your family is dangerous and is going to scar them for life.” He then proceeded to ask him to stop doing all of this publicly and handle it in a private manner. Pete even offered him help and said that he relates to mental illnesses, that he knows how assistance can really improve mental health. But it didn’t have the effect he hoped.
Pete seems to be acting more mature in this situation than Kanye is. Still, Ye managed to win two Grammys and confirmed that his singing talent outweighs his character flaws. If anything, he is an example of how engaging in reckless social media posts can truly affect your career.
