New findings shed light on the Zodiac’s true identity
The Zodiac has been one of the serial killers that has called the attention of everyone throughout the year, perhaps because Netflix added the 2007 film and we had plenty of time to watch it. He is a serial killer who tricked the police and called the press’ attention many times, causing controversy with his messages.
He claimed he committed 36 murders of which only 6 were confirmed. It was rumored that he took the blame for others' murders just to call the press' attention, which he did every time.

The serial killer’s identity was a mystery at the time and it still is today. However, the FBI has revealed a potential identity of one person in 1969 and another in 2020. The infamous Zodiac killer was identified by The Case Breakers, an independent group who investigates cold cases. The Case Breakers state that the man responsible for the deaths of at least 36 people is Gary Francis Poste, who passed away in 2018.

In my humble opinion, I think that the Zodiac didn’t work alone; I find it impossible to blame only one man for all the things he did and the disruption he caused. There must be more people behind the Zodiac than Gary F. Poste. As the years go by it is quite probable that many more “zodiacs” who were involved in the operation will be discovered. Personally, I believe this case must be further explored.
